It was then that Chinese physicians came to understand that everything is composed of the same energetic substance called Qi (chee). These ancient masters concluded that there is a one-ness and whole-ness in all existence and that energetically everything is interconnected as one body. Based on the teachings of the Chinese Medical Qigong Therapy at the University of Beijing in China, the Sentient Temple has now after extensive study, joined the ranks of Medical Qigong Practitioners practicing Qigong medicine.

International Institute of Medical Qigong

Dr. Dennis Alexander receives his diploma of Doctor of Medical Qigong (China) from Dr. Bernard Shannon. Dr. Shannon is the Executive Director of the International Institute of Medical Qigong and the Deputy Director of the Overseas College of Medical Qigong, Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Beijing, China. It was presented in the garden of the International Institute of Medical Qigong in Palm Desert California. Dr. Alexander is now the Florida Director of the International Institute of Medical Qigong. All graduating students will be certified by the IIMQ. Masters and Doctorate level students may be registered in China. IIMQ is the only University in the USA that offers this program.
