Qigong
Qigong is a combination of two ideas:

"Qi" (pronounced chee), means air, breath of life, or vital energy that flows through all things in the universe.
"Gong" (pronounced gung, as in lung) means the skill of working with, or cultivating, self-discipline and achievement.

Together, Qigong means the skill of cultivating vital energy, or the ability to work with the electromagnetic energy of the body. The body is enveloped by Qi or electromagnetic currents, affecting both internal and external organ functions. As Qi is the fundamental energy that sustains life, it is present in every cell of the body.

Medical Qigong
Medical Qigong is an ancient form of Chinese energetic medicine, and is one of the four main branches of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), along with acupuncture, herbal medicine, and medical massage. As with the other "Branches" of TCM, healing occurs through balancing qi or electromagnetic energy which surrounds and pervades all living creatures.

Medical Qigong Tui Na Class

Ancient Chinese Magic
Learn Daoist Plant, Animal and Mineral Magic. Be trained in Daoist Magic from the Zheng Yi School of Ancient Chinese Mysticisim as taught by the International Institute of Medical Qigong. These techniques can be very powerful and may be too mentally and physically demanding for some.

Reiki Correspondence Course
This home study course consists of a distance (or hands-on, if you are in the Florida area) Usui/Mayan Reiki Attunement to Level I, Level II and Master. Course includes all assignments and lessons, a final exam and case studies that are to be mailed in to receive your Reiki Master/Teacher Certificate. You will also receive an Attunement and Meditation via CD.

Dr. Dennis Alexander received his diploma of Doctor of Qigong Medicine (China) from Dr. Bernard Shannon, Deputy Director Overseas College of Medical Qigong, Henan University of Chinese Medicine Beijing China. November 7th, 2006. It was presented in the garden of the International Institute of Medical Qigong in Palm Desert California.

The Sentient Temple is accredited to teach Medical Qigong through the International Institute of Medical Qigong, affiliated with the Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Beijing , China Graduates will be registered in China .
